HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE COMPETITION CLASS:
The registration is a two-step process. First you register your email address and your desired place of
departure. Subsequently, places in the race will be granted on a first come, first serve basis. If
you are admitted to the race, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to a completion form. It
is important not to lose this link! If you are not admitted to the race during the first round of
admittances, you will be notified that you are on a waiting list.
Seeding:
1st heat: Men, start numbers 1-100. Runners in the 1st heat
2nd heat: Men, start numbers 101 and upwards
1st heat: Women, start numbers 2001-2050. Runners in 1st heat
2nd heat Women, start numbers 2051 and upwards
1st heat starts on a line 50 meters ahead of 2nd heat.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTERING SEEDED GROUP:
Women 130 FIS DI points or better, senior or juniorMen 90 FIS DI points or better, senior or junior
DI point from list , 2023-2024- Biathletes and Nordic combined athletes who are in the National team
(senior/junior) 2023-2024, or have competed in the WC, compete in the 1st heat.
Athletes chosen for the National team for the 2023-2024 season (junior/senior) are also seeded.
These requirements are absolute. If more than 50 women and/or 100 men fulfill the above
requirements, the jury will make priorities according to FIS-points until the maximum number
has been reached.
Price Competition
There are several places you can park before taking the train to the start area. The price includes a
return trip to the original point of departure.

Registration for the exercise class
TWO-STEP REGISTRATION:
First register your email address and the number of entrees (maximum 6). Remember to register
your place of entry if you are enlisting for the day trip from Oslo or Bergen. You will then enter
a queuing system. Subsequently, places in the race will be assigned on a first come,
first serve basis. If you areassigned a place, you will receive a confirmation email within
a few minutes. Use the link in the mail to complete your registration. Now is also the time
to choose your train departure point. If you do not complete the registration within the time limit,
you will lose your place. If will then go to the next person in the queuing system.
Registration must be completed within 6 hours.
After completed registration you will receive an invoice per email, with a due date 3 days
from receipt. Registration is binding, and you must pay for the places you have reserved
through confirmation of your registration. If you are not assigned place/s in the first round,
you will receive an email saying that you are in the queueing system. Before the assignment
of places, ca. 10.30AM, duplicate entries will be deleted, so that if several registrations
originate from the same email address, only the first entry is applicable.
25 kilometers Exercise Haugastøl – Ustaoset
Train/bus and start number are included.
Alternative 1: Train from Geilo and Ustaoset or bus from Ål to Haugastøl.
Alternative 2: Staying at Haugastøl. Only return transport.
EXERCISE HAUGASTØL 25 KILOMETERS
The course from Haugastøl to Ustaoset.
Train from Geilo and Ustaoset or bus from Ål to Haugastøl.
If you stay at Haugastøl you can choose only return transport.
37 kilometers Exercise – Finse
Transportation by train and start number included.
The course from Finse to Ustaoset.
Train from Gol, Ål, Geilo, Ustaoset and Haugastøl to Finse.
If you are staying at Finse you can choose only return transport.
Please note that it is not possible to travel by car to Finse.
Price Exercise
You can park in several different places and then take a bus or train onwards to the starting area.
The price includes a return trip to your original point of departure.

Registration day trip from Bergen and Oslo
On the train from Oslo you can choose several departure points on the way to Geilo. Return from Geilo to Oslo at 5.22 PM.
The train from Bergen takes passengers at Arna and Voss before arriving at Geilo. Returns from Geilo afternoon/night at 05.05 PM and 6.12 PM. Choose during registration.

The course from Finse to Ustaoset
Applies if you are at Finse Saturday morning and don’t need transportation to Finse arranged
by the organizers. Return transportation from Ustaoset to Finse is included. Take one of the
trains destined for Bergen. See times under transportation.
Please note that it is not possible to travel by car to Finse.
Price for race with return to Finse
Take the train back to Finse.
